Abbey House Fundraising Dinner raises over £1,000

On 25th November Abbey House Hotel hosted a Fundraising Dinner in aid of St Mary's Hospice. Over £1,000 was raised at the event, which featured guest speaker, former Northern Irish football player, Norman Whiteside - who represented his country in two World Cups. Norman played for Manchester United (273 appearances, 66 goals) and Everton, before his career was ended by injury at the age of 26. He won the FA Cup twice during his time playing for Manchester United, in 1983 and 1985. The evening also featured guest comedian Jamie Sutherland and MC Vince Miller.

We would like to thank all of the staff at Abbey House, the guest speakers and all of those who attended the evening making it a great success.
